TVL Advances On-Site Lithium Recovery

Alkemy Capital Investments plc, through its subsidiary Tees Valley Lithium (TVL), has announced significant advancements in its lithium refinery development. Agreements with Watercycle Technologies and Circulor UK Limited will integrate on-site lithium recovery, potentially unlocking up to $16 million annually by improving lithium yield, and establish a framework for up to 50,000 tonnes of recycled lithium feedstock from 2028. Furthermore, a partnership with Circulor will embed digital tracking for batch-level feedstock origin and recycled content, ensuring compliance with EU Battery Regulations and positioning TVL to meet its target of at least 20% recycled content from initial production.
