ALABAMA AIRCRAFT INDUSTRIES, INC. ANNOUNCES PROMOTION

             BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 29, 2009) – Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (“Company”), a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and modification services for the U.S. Government, today announced that Doris K. Sewell, Vice President, Legal and Corporate Affairs, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Legal and Support Services.  She reports to the Chief Executive Officer, Ronald A. Aramini.  Ms. Sewell, who joined the company in April of 2000, oversees all Legal functions for the Company as well as Human Resources, Training, Labor Relations, Safety, Environmental, Quality, Contracts and Plant Protection, to include plant security, federal facility security and fire  services.

 Ron Aramini, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “I am very pleased to announce the promotion of Doris Sewell.  Doris has been a long-term member of our management team and her level of responsibility has grown significantly over the past few years.  Her oversight of these critical support areas of the Company will provide a solid base to support our growth going forward.”
