(NASDAQ: AKTS) (“Akoustis” or the “Company”), an integrated device manufacturer (IDM) of patented bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced today that Dr. Jeffrey Shealy, founder and CEO of Akoustis, is an invited speaker at the 2022 International Conference on Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (CS MANTECH). CS MANTECH is a forum for leading compound semiconductor ideas and discussions with an annual international conference comprising workshops, talks, technical papers and exhibits that present the latest advances in compound semiconductor manufacturing and technology. The 2022 event will be held in Monterey, California from May 9-12. Dr. Shealy will present the invited paper “Single Crystal AlScN-on-Silicon XBAW RF Filter Technology for Wide Bandwidth, High Frequency 5G and Wi-Fi Applications” at 1:40 pm PT on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. The presentation will address the Company’s industry-leading research in single crystal aluminium scandium nitride (AlScN) acoustic materials using MOCVD and resonator filter devices fabricated using these novel piezoelectric nanomaterials.
