Campaign developed to educate investors about investment risks
TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - AGF Investment Inc. was honoured with the 2014 Canadian Investment Marketing Award at the 20th annual Morningstar Awards gala last night. The Award recognizes AGF's ongoing marketing campaign, Rethink Risk. Launched in November 2013, Rethink Risk was developed to help advisors educate their clients so that they are better informed and become active participants in their investment success.
With an emphasis on risk and downside protection, the Rethink Risk Campaign is rooted in our investment philosophy and how we manage money at AGF.
"We are thrilled to win the Canadian Investment Marketing Award. At AGF, we are strong advocates for financial literacy. With campaigns like Rethink Risk, we are helping investors make more informed investment decisions," said Gordon Forrester, Executive Vice-President, Product and Marketing and Head of Retail, AGF Investment Inc.
Focused on timely investment themes like retirement, savings, downside protection and the threat of rising interest rates, the Rethink Risk campaign provides insights and resources to enable advisors to engage investors and initiate conversations.
"This campaign was a collaborative effort of our marketing and creative teams. They built a dynamic, informative and interactive site that provides investors with a starting point for better conversations with their advisors," added Forrester.
The Canadian Investment Marketing Award recognizes great market practices within the Canadian investment industry.
