[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nAGF Investments Inc., announces two name changes and the termination of\n six funds.\n\n\nTORONTO, Aug. 26, 2013 /CNW/ - AGF Investments Inc. today announced the termination of six funds on or\n about November 1, 2013. Effective August 26, securities of the six\n funds indicated below will no longer be available for purchase.\n\n\nAGF Dollar Cost Averaging Fund\n\n\nAGF Global Real Estate Equity Fund\n\n\nAGF Global Real Estate Equity Class\n\n\nAcuity Pooled Growth and Income Fund\n\n\nAcuity Pooled Social Values Canadian Equity Fund\n\n\nAcuity Pooled EAFE Equity Fund\n\n\nThe decision to terminate these funds was driven by a combination of the\n small number of securityholders, relatively low assets and the costs\n associated with maintaining such small funds.\n\n\nAffected investors will be advised of their options by letter prior to\n the termination on or about November 1, 2013. Securityholders of the\n funds will have the option to switch their investments to any of AGF's\n diversified family of mutual funds or to redeem their securities.\n\n\nSecurityholders will not be required to pay any redemption fees or sales\n charges.\n\n\nAGF strongly encourages securityholders to consult with their financial\n advisor to discuss their individual circumstances, including possible\n tax consequences, and determine the solution that best meets their\n investment needs.\n\n\nIn addition to the terminations, two funds will also be renamed in order\n to better reflect their characteristics and holdings.
