AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), a leading provider of hydrogen energy solutions, announces that Joe Mangion has indicated his intention to retire from his role as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Company's Audit Committee.  Joe will continue in this role until a suitable replacement is found.    

As part of a succession plan already agreed by the Board, the Company's Nomination Committee is currently in discussion with potential candidates to replace Mr Mangion and an appointment of a new Audit Committee Chair will be made in due course.

The Board thanks Joe for his commitment and support since being appointed in 2017.  During this time, the Company has benefited greatly from Joe's input and positive contribution to its evolution and successes.  The Company wishes him well for the future.
