Change of Name to H-Power plc
AFC Energy Plc has officially changed its registered name to H-Power plc, effective from 12 May 2026, following shareholder approval. Trading on AIM will commence under the new name HPOW from 8:00 a.m. on 13 May 2026, with the ISIN and LEI remaining unchanged. The company's website will also be updated to www.h-power.co.uk on 14 May 2026. Existing shareholders are unaffected, and their share certificates remain valid. Disclaimer*

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n12 May 2026\nAFC Energy Plc\n(\"AFC Energy\" or the \"Company\")\nChange of Name to H-Power plc\n \nAIM Rule 26 Website Change\n \nFollowing shareholder approval of the proposed change of the Company's registered name at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 16 April 2026, the Company announces that Companies House has issued a Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name and accordingly the registered name of the Company is now H-Power plc.\n \nWith effect from 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, 13 May 2026, trading on AIM will commence under the Company's new registered name and the new Tradable Instrument Display Mnemonic (TIDM) will be HPOW (previously AFC). The Company's ISIN GB00B18S7B29 and LEI 213800SRJST19GNS9U35 remain unchanged.\n \nShareholders are unaffected by the changes and existing share certificates will remain valid and should be retained.\n \nIn order to reflect the Company's new name, the Company's website address will be changed to www.h-power.co.uk with effect from 8:00am on 14 May 2026.
