[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n27 July 2023\nAFC Energy PLC\n(\"AFC Energy\" or the \"Company\")\n \nAppointment of Non-Executive Director\nAFC Energy (AIM: AFC), a leading provider of hydrogen power generator technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Duncan Neale to the board as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee effective 1 August 2023. \nMr Neale is an experienced Non-Executive Director with a strong emphasis on the energy sector with current Board positions held with Gresham House Energy Storge Fund plc and Atrato Onsite Energy plc. He has held numerous senior finance roles over 20 years, including Chief Financial Officer for listed and private companies with an audit, corporate finance, fundraising and M&A background. \nDuncan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.\nDuncan replaces Joe Mangion who steps down from the Board on 31 July 2023. \nCommenting on his appointment, Gary Bullard, Chair of AFC Energy, said: \"We are delighted to welcome Duncan to the Board as a Chair of the Audit Committee. Duncan brings a long history and sectoral experience in the energy market to this role and I believe he will be a strong addition to our Board.
