(OTCQX: AKOM), a publicly-traded holding company (the \"Company,\" or \"AKOM\" or \"Aerkomm\") whose operating subsidiary, Aircom Pacific, Inc., is developing in-flight entertainment and connectivity, or IFEC, solutions, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the \"SEC\") to register up to $40,000,000 of shares of its common stock in a proposed firm commitment underwritten public offering.
