[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nMISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - Second Cup Royalty Income Fund (the\n"Fund") announced that its Board of Trustees has approved a cash distribution\nof $0.0940 per unit for the month of January 2009 to be paid on February 27,\n2009 to unitholders of record at the close of business on February 25, 2009.\n\n\nThe Fund also announced that it is pleased to report that Mr. Robert\nMasson C.A. has been appointed to the position as Chief Financial Officer of\nthe Fund, and Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Second Cup GP Inc. ("GP\nInc.") effective immediately. Mr. James Anas, who has been acting in the above\npositions on an interim basis since October 24, 2008, has withdrawn from that\nrole and continues in his capacity as Vice Chairman of The Second Cup Ltd.\n("Second Cup") and Director of GP Inc.\n\n\nGabriel Tsampalieros, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Second Cup,\ncommented that "We are also pleased to report that Mr. Masson has joined our\nSecond Cup team as Chief Financial Officer. He brings a breadth of experience,\nparticularly in franchising, and we look forward to his future contributions\nand successes with us."\n\n\nThe Fund is an open-ended trust established under the laws of the\nProvince of Ontario.
