In addition to the contract for Unit 6, SGRT signed a long-term Preferred Supplier Agreement, with a firm pricing structure, for steam generator replacements at the plant's remaining five units as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project. This agreement, with provisions for a long-term partnership through 2032, gives Bruce Power the benefit of experience and relationships of multiple projects, and allows SGRT to establish a long-term presence in the Bruce Power community.\n\n\"Replacement of steam generators is a key part of the Major Component Replacement project,\" said Mike Rencheck, president and CEO of Bruce Power. \"We have established an agreement for the Unit 6 steam generator replacement to start and to establish a firm path for steam generator replacements in our subsequent five units, securing both resources and estimates for future work.
