(APT), reports today that it is in preliminary negotiations with a major creditor to retire a portion of existing company debt by issuing stock in payment of the debt. The stock will be offered at a share value substantially higher than the current value of shares in the open market, and while no agreements have yet been formalized, initial reaction to our proposals have been positive. We believe that such a transaction would be a great benefit to the company and its shareholders, and we look forward to strengthening the company's financial position with strategic agreements like this as well as with increasing sales growth as we look to build on an anticipated record second quarter. \r\n\r\nAlso, in an unrelated matter, the company has received reports that APT has been the subject of spam emails regarding company stock. In light of these reports, the company wishes to publicly state its existing policy regarding spam email and fax blast stock promotions.
