Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc., Today Announces A Statement Of The Company's Direction. WOODWARD, OK -- (PINKSHEETS) - February 9, 2006 -- Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets: APWL - News) announces today a statement of a of the company's direction. Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc., (APT) today issues a statement that describes a brief view of the company's currently intended direction. While plans may change as opportunities arise, as market conditions shift, or for a number of other reasons, the company felt that it was important to offer an overview of APT and our current plans. APT's principal business focus is to create and develop Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and Power Line Communications (PLC) friendly devices, products, and services. Power lines run to practically every building and within each building, usually to many points in each room. PLC allows devices to communicate over the existing power lines, while BPL uses power lines as a broadband internet connection. APT believes that, using its unique intellectual property, PLC technology is ready to achieve a much broader application in the market in areas that encompass everything from home entertainment to homeland security. In 2006, APT sold its first flat panel LCD High Definition Digital Televisions (HDTV), and plans were announced to assemble those televisions in the United States. This was not a step away from our core business, but was a key step toward accomplishing our objectives in PLC. APT realized quickly that the TV/monitor was a key component in our vision for a PLC system. Upon the completion of research, development, and the verification of test results of the company's PLC devices, the Company intends to utilize the technology within the existing product platforms to enhance their capabilities. An obvious platform for such enhancement will be APT's HDTV systems. APT's main products will then become BPL and PLC friendly devices with the company's related hardware and system service.
