(Pink Sheets: APWL - News) announced today that its Vice Chairman is traveling to the Far East for a series of meetings with Chairman and CEO Jack Lin, Board members Alston Lin and Charlie Cheng and the Board members of its subsidiary, AP Technologies Corp. (Taiwan). These meetings are designed to coordinate and streamline efforts between the company and its subsidiary in developing and marketing Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and Power Line Communications (PLC) friendly devices, products and services. These series of meetings will take place in AP Technologies Corp.'s (Taiwan) new facilities allowing the Vice Chairman to view the new facilities first hand.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc.'s Chairman and CEO Jack Lin, Board members Alston Lin and Charlie Cheng, along with its Vice Chairman will be meeting with some of its major suppliers and vendors, (Pou-Chen Group, Nexgen Mediatech Inc., and Chi-Mei Group), in Taiwan and China. These series of meetings are designed as a review of its supply chain and the quality control procedures of its major suppliers and vendors as well as an opportunity to improve and enhance its supply chain management and explore other business opportunities.\r\n\r\nAdvanced Powerline Technologies, Inc.'s principal business focus is to create and develop Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and Power Line Communications (PLC) friendly devices, products and services. The company's principal products at this time are cellular phones and liquid crystal display (LCD) digital televisions with high definition tuners. The company intends on marketing the sales of cellular phones and digital televisions internationally and domestically. Upon the completion of research, development, and the verification of test results of the company's Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and Power Line Communications (PLC) devices, the company intends to utilize the technology within the existing product platforms to enhance their capabilities.
