(\"ADF\" or the \"Corporation\") (TSX: DRX), a North American leader in the fabrication of steel superstructures, announces the award of two new major contracts in the United States, worth a total of $102 million.\nThe first contract has been awarded in Western U.S. and consists in the design and engineering of connections, fabrication, including the procurement of raw material (steel) and industrial coating, as well as the installation of complex steel structures and heavy steel components, for a new public transport infrastructure. This contract will be carried out at ADF's plant, in Great Falls, Montana. Fabrication work is scheduled to start during the first quarter of the fiscal year beginning on February 1st, 2019, and will extend over a 30-month period, approximately.\nThe Corporation was also awarded the contract to erect the steel of a new recreational structure in the U.S. Southeast. In addition, ADF's engineering team will provide design-assist services during the structure's design phase, as well as provide installation engineering methodology.\nIt should be noted that excluding these new orders announced today, the Corporation's order backlog stood at $141.1 million on July 31, 2018. \nMr. Jean Paschini, Co-Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, points out that \"obtaining these contracts is very encouraging and illustrates our continued efforts to increase our order backlog.
