In addition, a new strong copper anomaly has emerged with\nvalues ranging from 100 ppm to 1,450 ppm copper.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n\n\n\n Figure 1. The South Hedley\nCopper-Gold Project is well situated in the Southern BC Copper Gold\nBelt.\n \n\n\n\n The program focussed on the Max Prospect, which\nsuccessfully expanded the gold anomaly further east and to the south,\nand introduced new copper anomalies at a defined elevation of 1,385 to\n1,410 metres (“m”).  Above this elevation, there is a tuffaceous\nvolcanic unit that appears to mask the underlying anomaly. Below that\nelevation the slope is also covered by thick talus that also\nsuppresses any geochemical signature (See Figure 2).  The\ngeochemically expressive interval appears to correspond with the\nmargins of a structural window that could be revealing a\nmetal-enriched zone of unknown thickness below the volcanic cover\nrocks.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n\n\n\n Figure 2. Geological concept model\nfor Max Prospect shows overlying late tuffaceous rocks covering\nunderlying altered rocks. The lower underlying altered rocks contain\ncopper – gold mineralization, while the tuffaceous rocks are not\nmineralized and mask the mineralized areas. Soil samples collected\nabove the tuffaceous rocks at approximately 1400 to 1385m elevation\ncontain low gold and copper values (black squares).  Similarly, below\nthe talus debris in the valley metal values are low. Soil samples\ncollected within the altered rocks, below the tuffaceous rocks and\nabove ...
