Its critical status is due to\nits importance in ballistics, aerospace and technology. Tungsten has\nunique properties including its extreme hardness and high melting\npoint.  It has not been mined commercially in the USA since 2015,\nwith most supplies being sourced from China.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Work by Adamera on the\nTalisman Property has focused on the presence of high-grade copper and\nsilver mineralization.  Limited attention has been paid to\nhistorically mined tungsten-bearing (scheelite) skarn zones in the\nTalisman Tungsten Mine.  The mine was a key tungsten producer during\nWorld War II, supplying strategic metal for U.S. military\napplications.\n \n\n Specifically, scheelite occurs\nin garnet-epidote skarn along the contact between limestone and\nintrusive rocks.  Selected samples from the workings contain between\n0.35 and 1.0 % WO₃, with local samples reported to assay higher.\n \n\n (1)\n \n\n In addition to high-grade tungsten, smelter records from\nthe Talisman Mine report high-grade copper and silver averaging 5% and\n103 g/t, respectively. Specific zones also contained Pb up to 20% and\nZn up to 11%.\n \n\n (1)\n(2)\n \n\n\n\n “The Talisman Property is a\ncritical minerals opportunity. Our work confirms the presence of a\npolyme...
