[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 4640V Active Energy Group PLC 23 July 2018 \n\nActive Energy Group Plc / EPIC: AEG / Sector: Alternative Energy\n23 July 2018\nActive Energy Group Plc ('Active Energy', the 'Company' or the 'Group')\nResults of AGM\n \nActive Energy, the London quoted international biomass based renewable energy and forestry management business, is pleased to announce that all resolutions were duly passed at its Annual General Meeting held today.\n \nAt the AGM Mr. Phil Scalzo and Mr. Antonio Esposito delivered presentations on the Company's CoalSwitch and PeatSwitch products and the current and anticipated market for the worldwide sale of industrial pellets. These presentations will be available to view on the Company's website later today. \n \nThe Company also wishes to update shareholders regarding its proposed agreement with the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada that will provide the Company with a Crown Timber Licence and a Forestry Management Agreement.\n \nThe Company has now received a letter from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (the \"Government\") which confirms that Active Energy's proposal is in the final stages of review by the relevant governmental departments. The Government has confirmed that as this is the first application of its kind regarding the grant of a Forestry Management Agreement, it has provoked considerable interest and review from all those involved.
