Net earnings for the year ended December 31, 2004 were $3,026,078 or basic earnings per share of $1.31 compared with $1,613,994 or basic earnings per share of $.70 for the year ended December 31, 2003. For the three months ended December 31, 2004, the Company recorded revenues of $8,685,869, compared to $5,707,319 for the same three months in 2003. For the year ended December 31, 2004, the Company recorded revenues of $30,835,531, compared to $19,168,648 for 2003. For the three months and twelve months ended December 31, 2004 net written premium increased to $4,587,358 and $15,779,212, respectively, from $2,096,160 and $14,037,916, respectively for the same periods in 2003. ACMAT provides design and construction services to commercial, industrial, corporate and institutional customers. ACMAT focuses on renovating interiors of existing facilities, as well as new building construction. ACMAT's Insurance Group includes ACSTAR Insurance Company and United Coastal Insurance Company. ACSTAR, licensed nationwide, provides surety bonds for prime contractors, specialty trade, environmental remediation and asbestos abatement contractors and miscellaneous surety. United Coastal, approved nationwide, provides specialty general, environmental and professional liability insurance primarily to general contractors, specialty trade and environmental contractors, property owners, as well as architects, consultants and engineers. United Coastal also offers products liability.
