[{"type":"text","content":"\n Accsys Technologies PLC\n02 August 2006\n\n\n2nd August 2006\n AIM: AXS\n\n\n Titan Wood and Roggemann sign exclusive agreement\n to launch AccoyaTM wood in the German market\n\n\nAccsys Technologies PLC ('Accsys' or 'the Company', www.accsysplc.com) announces\nthat its 100% owned subsidiary, Titan Wood BV, has entered into a cooperation\nagreement with the Roggemann Group, of Germany (www.roggemann.de)\n\nThe exclusive agreement, between AccoyaTM producer Titan Wood, based in Arnhem,\nthe Netherlands and the Roggemann Group from Bremen, Germany, one of the leading\nGerman timber traders, is to bring an innovative new product in the wood\nindustry to the German market. AccoyaTM, a 'new wood species' is extremely\ndurable, reliable and dimensionally stable. It is created by the modification of\nsustainable wood species, with low natural performance attributes, through a\nprocess of acetylation.\n\nAccoyaTM wood, with its extraordinary technical and ecological benefits, is the\nultimate wood for high quality outdoor applications such as doors, windows,\ncladding, decking and external wooden constructions. The cooperative agreement,\nsigned earlier this month, will result in the first deliveries of the product to\nGermany this year.\n\nCarl Jastram, Business Development and Purchasing Manager for Roggemann, said, '\nLooking at the outstanding technological and environmental benefits, the\nRoggemann Group is convinced that AccoyaTM wood will shortly achieve a\nconsiderable market share in Germany.
