[{"type":"text","content":"Laflamme JV Project Discovers High-Grade Gold-Bearing Boulders\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Rouyn-Noranda, Canada –\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n June 13, 2022 – Abcourt Mines Inc.\n \n \n (“Abcourt” or the\n“Corporation”) (TSXV:ABI)\n \n \n (OTC:ABMBF)\n \n \n is pleased to report the discovery\nof high-grade gold-bearing boulders as well as new auriferous shear\nzones during a recent prospecting program on its Laflamme JV project\nby the operator Midland Exploration Inc. (“Midland”) (TSX-V: MD).\n \n \n \n \n The Laflamme project is located approximately 25\nkilometres northwest of the town of Lebel-sur-Quévillon in Abitibi,\nQuebec, and currently consists of 436 claims covering a total surface\narea of about 234 square kilometres. This project is a joint venture\nbetween Midland (77.9%) and Abcourt Mines Inc. (“Abcourt”)\n(22.1%).\n \n \n \n \n High-grade gold-bearing boulders\ndiscovered by prospecting\n \n \n \n \n During a prospecting program conducted in late May\n2022, a metre-scale angular erratic boulder was discovered\napproximately 700 metres southeast of the historical Notting Hill gold\nshowing. This boulder graded 28.7 g/t Au and is characterized by an\nintense stockwork of quartz-ankerite veins containing up to 15% pyrite\nmineralization. Another sample collected from a similar boulder\nlocated 1 metre apart yielded a grade of 6.0 g/t Au in a country rock\ncompletely altered to ankerite and containing 5% pyrite\nmineralization, which represents the stockwork host rock.\n \n \n \n \n Given the angular shape of this boulder and known\nglacial flow directions in this part of the Abitibi, the potential\nsource of these erratic boulders is interpreted as being at a short\ndistance to the NNE. The target area has never been drill-tested and\ncorresponds to a magnetic low that remains untested over a distance of\nmore than 1.5 kilometres.\n \n \n \n \n New gold-bearing shear structures\nidentified near the discovery boulders\n \n \n \n \n Prospecting also yielded several anomalous gold values\non outcrops with grades between 0.1 and 1.0 g/t Au, in grab samples\nassociated with new shear zones with strong carbonate alteration,\nsupporting the gold potential in the vicinity of the discovery\nboulder.\n \n \n \n \n This new favour...
