MONTREAL, Oct. 19, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - 5N Plus Inc. (TSX: VNP), a leading producer of specialty metal and chemical products, announced today that it was ranked among the Deloittei Technology Fast 50TM and won the prestigious Deloitte Technology Green 15TM for a second consecutive year.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50TM is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Canada, based on the percentage of revenue growth over five years. 5N Plus' increase in revenues of 413% from 2006 to 2010 resulted in a 38th place ranking. The Deloitte Technology Green 15TM Award is an award created to showcase 15 Canadian companies that are leading the way to create major breakthroughs in the field of green technology.
5N Plus also announced that it ranked number 221 on Technology Fast 500™, Deloitte's ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.
