Further to the announcement on 15 December 2011 that Ms Martine Verluyten would be joining 3i's Board as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 January 2012, this announcement is to confirm, in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the UKLA's Listing Rules, that:

1.         Ms Verluyten has been a Director of Thomas Cook Group plc since her appointment in May 2011; and

2.         there are no further matters to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the UKLA's Listing Rules.
