Jonathan Goodman is President and CEO of Dundee Goodman Merchant Partners (DGMP), a private equity-focused investment platform. Mr. Goodman is also Chairman and CEO of Dundee Corporation, a diversified holding company with a focus on resource investing.

Mr. Goodman has 34+ years of experience in the resource and investment industry, working as a geologist, senior analyst, portfolio manager, and CEO of a producing mining company.

Mr. Goodman joined Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Inc. in 1990, where he was responsible for the selection of Canadian equities and played a major role in developing asset allocation strategies, before becoming the company’s President. Mr. Goodman served as CEO of Dundee Precious Metals (DPM-T) from 1995 to 2013, and as Executive Chairman from April 2013 to September 2017, at which time he was appointed Chairman. Concurrently, he also was President and CEO of Dundee Capital Markets from 2013 to 2014. Mr. Goodman also serves as a Director for Atico Mining (ATCMV), which recently acquired Toachi Mining Inc. (TIM-V), of which Mr. Goodman was Chairman and a major shareholder. This acquisition created a new Latin American copper-gold company, anchored by the producing El Roble Mine in Colombia and the high grade La Plata (Toachi) project in Ecuador. Mr. Goodman was also a founding partner of Goepel Shields & Partners and Metaform Investments.

Mr. Goodman graduated from the Colorado School of Mines as a Geological Engineer and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. He is a Professional Engineer in Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.
