Éric Lemieux

Éric Lemieux, is a professional geologist and mining analyst based in Québec, Canada. He is an independent technical advisor for EBL Consultants Enr. providing coverage on certain mineral exploration and development issuers, among others.

Éric was previously a consulting technical advisor with PearTree Securities Inc. of Toronto, a leading provider of flow through share donation financing (FTSDF) services in Canada. Previously he was with Laurentian Bank Securities in Montreal as a sell-side mining analyst. His coverage included gold, base-metal, diamond and uranium exploration and development issuers as well as unconventional shale oil and gas plays in Québec. He also acted as an independent consultant with various clients including the Québec Securities Commission (Autorité des marches financiers), the New Brunswick Securities Commission where he was responsible for applying Regulation NI 43-101. As well, Éric was, during the 1990’s, a geologist-analyst with the Montreal Exchange and managed previously exploration projects for Cambior, Noranda and SOQUEM. These positions as project geologist permitted him to develop a very good knowledge of the planning, execution and management of mineral exploration programs.

Éric holds two master’s degrees, one in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines (1997) and in another in Metamorphic-Structural Geology from Laval University in Quebec City (1992) and a B.Sc. in Geology from Laval University (1989).
